Welcome to the NEW Learningland Home Learning Series!
For years now parents have told me that their child is so enthused by Learningland sessions, they would love to have something to reinforce our wonderful programs at home.
In response we have provided a range of FUN downloadable activity sheets for our letters & Numbers, and Ready to Read programs. These will not only enhance your child’s comprehension, but provide an opportunity for you to share in their learning.
Each week you will be able to access a range of activities that challenge each child to:
• Remember the Letterland character and phonic sound of the week.
• Apply that sound in a series of Activities
•See the sound in the context of words and sentences (RTR only)
They also provide developmentally appropriate practice in sequencing, visual discrimination, rhyme, mathematical processes and fine motor skill development.
These sheets should then be posted into your child’s scrapbook so that they may receive a stamp from their teacher for their wonderful work.
We believe our Home Learning Series will help promote knowledge, valuable work habits and confidence in each child. They should also be a whole lot of FUN!
