This course provides a more in-depth opportunity for children to explore sound/spelling patterns, blending & phonemic awareness. Children engage in whole & small group activities through literacy centres, gaining a range of strategies to make them more fluent readers & more confident class participants. Writing & pencil grip will remain a core feature of the program and children will develop a take home reader to accelerate fluency & comprehension. You could not get a better start! 2 unlined scrapbooks required. Drop off and collect children after class*
